New OMBA Curriculum!

This fall we are launching a new curriculum
which is aligned with our four centers in
Innovation/Entrepreneurship, Securities Analysis,
Sports Business, and Sustainable Business Practices.
Here are some of the highlights:

Fewer required 1st-year core courses increase flexibility.
More center-based electives in 1st year offer better
preparation for summer internships.
Moved to the 2nd year, Strategic Planning Projects will
generate job opportunities.
Optional flex-core classes can be taken in either year.
A free, online program on accounting, economics
finance, and statistics will be offered in the summer.

Forbes includes the Oregon M.B.A. in its list of “Best Bang for Your Buck” programs.
Engaging China, a joint program of the UO Center for Asian and Pacific Studies and LCB, consists of a series of public lectures and private workshops by UO China experts, followed by a study tour of Beijing and Shanghai for faculty and MBAs. In 2008, faculty and students with interests in innovation/entrepreneurship, securities analysis, and sports business are participating.
The Journal of Financial Economics ranks the Lundquist College of Business finance faculty 10th in JFE citations over the past 25 years.
The Princeton Review ranks the Lundquist College of Business 6th nationally in "Facilities" thanks to the Lillis Business Complex.
