LCB Prof, OMBA Grad Win International Honor

A management professor and an OMBA graduate have won the prestigious international 2007 oikos Sustainability Case Writing Competition sponsored by the oikos Foundation at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Professor Mike Russo, the Charles H. Lundquist Professor of Sustainable Management, and Dan Goldstein, OMBA ’06, collaborated in researching and writing the winning case study, "Seventh Generation: Balancing Customer Expectations with Supply Chain Realities." Their entry beat out 22 other case studies submitted from business schools on four continents. Women in Sports Business

The Warsaw Sports Marketing Center honored World Team Tennis CEO Ilana Kloss as its "Sports Business Woman of the Year" during the Center’s 11th annual Women in Sports Business Symposium Luncheon in Portland on May 24, 2007. Kloss gave the keynote address.

The Symposium is a leading academic forum for both current professionals and students interested in the sports industry. It is designed to educate, honor, celebrate and facilitate interaction among female sports business leaders, students and community members.
