In a class of their own

The women and men who teach in the Oregon M.B.A. Program are either seasoned veterans like Rick Mowday, who have made names for themselves through their research, publications, and professional service, or recently crowned Ph.D.s like Ro Gutierrez from some of the nation's leading universities, or successful former business executives like Beth Hjelm. Not everyone is chosen to teach in the M.B.A. program. They are.

Our M.B.A. faculty give their best both inside and outside the classroom. They start memorizing students' names before the very first class. They are approachable and helpful. They keep generous office hours and even complain when students don't take advantage of those hours. By the end, you will have gotten to know each other well, whether over lunch and coffee or through the give-and-take of class. In fact, long after they graduate from here, Oregon MBAs still fondly remember many of their instructors and often remain in close touch.
